Saturday Recap
Race One of the IHRA Triple Crown Series at Darana-National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio lived up to the hype with a spectacular day of Eliminations action. Tripp Tatum scored the Big Money in Top Fuel with a 3.764 ET to defeat close friend Gary Pritchett in the Final Round. In Funny Car, Paul Lee defeated Del Worsham in a great Final Round 3.973 to 4.018. Jason Harris will have another shot at a Million Dollar Bonus this year as he won the Pro Mod class with Low ET of the weekend 3.567 in the Final Round. John DeFlorian saved the Best for Last with Low ET of the Weekend 4.052 and he needed every bit of it to defeat Jeremy Huffman 4.076 for a Margin of Victory .006. Tatum, Lee, Harris and DeFlorian will all have a chance at the Million Dollar Bonus during the Triple Crown X2 Event in September at Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania. Other winners include Jody Austin (Fuel Altered), Rachel Curl (Top Alcohol Dragster), Phil Esz (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Taylor Dietsch (Pro Stock), Mitch Brown (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Ryan Peery (Nitro Harley) and Anthony Rhodes (Hemi Shootout). The IHRA continues on with their Outlaw Nitro Series back on track in early July at Milan Dragway in Milan, Michigan.

Friday Recap
Action was incredible on Qualifying Day for Race 1 of the IHRA Triple Crown Series at Darana-National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio. This series of high paying events concentrates on the Pro Categories that typically compete in the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series events. Top Fuel saw 15 Cars fighting for 8 Qualified spots. Shawn Reed would emerge as the #1 Qualifier with a 3.767/332MPH Blast. Funny Car saw a similar battle with 14 Cars going for 8 Spots on the Ladder. Dale Creasy Jr. continued to have a strong 2026 season earning the Top Spot with a 3.962/319MPH to edge out Bobby Bode’s 3.976. Pro Mod was also a massive field with 31 entries making the trip to Ohio with Jason Harris earning the #1 Position with a 3.595 ET. John DeFlorian topped a huge Mountain Motor Pro Stock field with a 4.078 ET. Other Top Qualifiers include Bubba Stanton (Outlaw Pro Mod), Jody Austin (Fuel Altered), Jeff Chatterson (Top Alcohol Dragster), Phil Esz (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Taylor Dietsch (Pro Stock), Larry McBride (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Bob Malloy (Nitro Harley) and Anthony Rhodes (Hemi Shootout).
