IHRA Pro Mod Mania at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI is in the books after an excellent day of racing action. “Carolina Kid” Travis Harvey is taking the $125K Check home to NC after winning the Pro Mod class. Harvey threw down a perfect .000 RT and 3.605 ET to defeat Melanie Salemi’s solid 3.602 (.023 RT). Jerry Tucker swept the Mountain Motor Pro Stock category, earning the #1 Qualifying spot & putting away the competition to end up in the Winners Circle. Tucker also used a Perfect .000 RT in the Final round, to defeat Jeremy Huffman. Pat DeBottis scored the Top Sportsman victory when his opponent Rod Oxford turned it .030 Red on the tree.
The Milan Dragway monthly Heads-Up Series was also in action at this event. Tim Heiges put his Corvette in the Winners Circle of the Door Mod class with a 4.024 ET. Run What Ya Brung was won by Tim Brown in his Supercharged Ford Probe of No Prep Kings fame with a 3.821 ET to defeat Josh VanSkiver’s Dragster. Outlaw 632 featured an all Team Liberty Gears final as Kyle Salminen took the win over Nicole Liberty. Other winners included Joel Wensley Jr. (NT 28), Jay Trisel (LDR), Glenn Pushis (Ultra Street), Kevin Cody (All Motor), Chuck Lewis (Open Comp) and Jeremy Newman (235-8.5).

Qualifying is complete for IHRA Pro Mod Mania at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI. There were just a few pairs of Pro Mods left in the lanes for Q3 when Rain washed out the rest of Friday’s action. Jason Harris and the Party Time team earned the #1 Qualifying spot with a 3.590 ET, the only racer in the 3.5x zone so far this weekend. Rounding out the Top 5 were Randy Weatherford, Paige Coughlin, Melanie Salemi and Greg Blevins. $125K is on the line for the winner of Pro Mod Eliminations tomorrow. Jerry Tucker led the pack in Mountain Motor Pro Stock Qualifying with a 4.071 ET. Meanwhile, Dwayne Gallogly locked up the top spot in Top Sportsman at 3.945.
