Weekend Recap
Unfortunately the Winner of Race 2 was Mother Nature during the NHRA Division 6 Double Header at Yellowstone Dragstrip in Acton, Montana. Qualifying for Race 2 was completed on Saturday, and most of Round 1 got in before the Rains took over. An attempt to get on track Sunday was made, but it just wasn’t to be this weekend. Race 2 of the Yellowstone NHRA D6 event will be completed at Woodburn Dragstrip in Woodburn, Oregon on Wednesday, July 29 as part of their Double Header event.
Friday Recap
Race 1 is complete during the NHRA Division 6 Double Header at Yellowstone Dragstrip in Acton, Montana. A rare instance happened in the Stock Eliminator where it was a F/SA Heads-Up Final Round. Joe Sorensen would score the Wally with a -1.20, 11.077 Lap to defeat James Buethel’s 11.163. The Top Dragster Final featured an ultra close battle with Aaron Steinkey letting go 003 and taking 014 Stripe for the Win over Kendra Larson. Cody Lane continued his D6 Winning Streak in Competition Eliminator with the Race 1 victory defeating Kayla Mozeris in the Final. Other Yellowstone NHRA D6 Race 1 Winners include Roy Trees (Top Sportsman), Troy Olsonawski (Super Stock), Doug Johnson (Super Comp), Michael Dalrymple (Super Gas), William Carnell (Super Street), Chad Hofert (Sportsman Motorcycle), Tim Partin (Super Pro), Chance Rees (Pro ET), Ayden Blevins (Sportsman), Kinzlee Breen (Junior Lightning) and Lexi Wittman (Junior Thunder). Saturday will feature Qualifying for Race 2 of the Double Header.

Thursday Recap
NHRA Division 6 is back in action with another Double Header, this time at Yellowstone Dragstrip in Acton, Montana. Weather is presenting a challenge to start the weekend. The decision was made to run out Qualifying on Thursday and go as far as possible in Eliminations for Race 1. Qualifying was completed, and most of Round 1 Eliminations were finished before the Rains came. Top Qualifiers for Race 1 include Drew Oenes (Top Dragster), Roy Trees (Top Sportsman), Cody Lane (Comp), Troy Olsonawski (Super Stock), James Beuthel (Stock) and Jeremy Bates (Sportsman Motorcycle). The plan is to finish up Race 1 Eliminations once the track dries on Friday, then go into 1 Qualifying Shot for Race 2 & into Eliminations.
