Friday PDRA Drag Wars Final Qualifying Results
PDRA Drag Wars Qualifying was on the agenda for Friday at Darana Motorsports Park in Benson, North Carolina. The PDRA Crew fought weather and incident delays, but was able to get most of the day’s scheduled on-track action complete. Pro Nitrous saw first time competitor Ryan Bush score the Top Spot with a 3.629 ET. Bush, who typically races with the Mid-West Drag Racing Series looks to be a spoiler in the PDRA Championship battle. An incredibly competitive Pro Boost category saw Defending Champ Ty Tutterow show out with a 3.556 ET to lead the field into Race Day. Pro Street continues to put on an amazing show with Tim Essick putting the Brown Sugar Mustang atop the Qualifying Sheet with a 3.893 ET in the final session. Other PDRA Drag Wars Top Qualifiers include JC Beattie (Pro 632), Connor McGee (Super Street), Jamie Fowler (Elite Top Sportsman), Alan O’Brien (Elite Top Dragster), Ashton Halas (Pro Junior Dragster) and Carter Hayes (Top Junior Dragster).
