Sunday Recap
A big week of action at Cordova Dragway in Illinois wrapped up on Sunday with the Final $25K-to-win Main Event during the GallStars & Stripes $100K Weekend. The Final Round saw a pair of Dragsters stage up for the $25K Top Prize with Jerry McGraw and Richard Briscoe fighting it out for the W. This one was over on the starting line as Briscoe let go 009 Red, handing the Win and $25K over to Jerry McGraw. Kabren Jackson was the Day’s No Box Winner, and joined Brian Folk as Semi-Finalists in the Main Event. GallStar Bracket Races will be back in action at the end of the month at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park.

Saturday Recap
Saturday was the Big Day with the $100K-to-Win Main Event during the GallStars & Stripes $100K at Cordova Dragway in Cordova, Illinois. A great field of competitors battled down to a Final Round between Brent Vincent’s 3rd Gen Camaro and Josh Goike’s American Race Cars Dragster. Josh would let go 005 Red, sending Vincent and his Camaro to Victory Lane in the Main Event. Brent was excellent all day with a string of Dead-On 6.38 Laps & his 008 Green in the Final would have been hard to beat. Matt Cheney was the No Box Winner on the Day and went on to be the sole semi-finalist in the Main Event. The Weekend wraps up with another $25K-to-win Main Event on Sunday at Cordova. Friday Recap
The Weekend kicked off during the GallStars & Stripes $100K on Friday at Cordova Dragway in Cordova, Illinois with a $25K-to-win Main Event. Unfortunately, Rain cut the day short with 11 Cars Left in the running for the Big Money. The Racers still in competition were: Cole Vogel, Grant Zimmerman, Andy Schmall, Glenn Dilday, Joe Schmall, Ed Curtis, Johnny DiPiazza, Shane Pope x2, Scott Marsden and Eric Pavesich. Those Remaining Racers decided to cut up the Purse Money, and call the Friday event complete. $100K is on the Line Saturday at Cordova Dragway.
