Thursday $10K Warmup Race Results
The Season Finale for the PDRA Triple Threat Bracket Series kicked off on Thursday at Virginia Motorsports Park with a $10K-to-Win Warmup Race. The Final Round saw a pair of tough customers face off as Dustin Smiley and his Pontiac Grand Prix staged up against Ben Jones’ Dragster. This one was over at the Tree as Jones let go 007 too soon, handing the $10K and Bragging Rights over to South Carolina racer Smiley. Matt Edwards and his Dragster were the Warmup Race’s sole semi-finalist. Friday’s Schedule consists of a $50K to Win Main Event. Mother Nature has necessitated a schedule change for later in the Weekend with Rain coming in for Sunday, so the Saturday $50K and Sunday $25K were combined into a $75K Main Event on Saturday.
