Friday ACE Ohio $30K Main Event Results
Update: The Friday $30K Final Round took place early Saturday between E1 and the Re-Entry Round. It would be Justin Vickers turning on the W Light with a 017 and Dead 6 (6.146 on 6.14 Dial) Lap to defeat Foley’s better 008 RT and 3 Above (6.100 on 6.07). Vickers earns the First Main Event Win of the Weekend.
ACE Ohio Events kicks off their season this weekend with the ACE Triple $20K’s at Darana Raceway in West Salem, Ohio. The weather forecast has created a challenge, so the ACE Crew made the decision to combine payouts into two $30K Main Events to run over the course of the Weekend. Friday’s action was excellent with Mark Brewer earning the No Box victory in his Mustang II over Michael Beard. The Main Event came down to an interesting Final 3. Justin Vickers earned the Bye Run with a Perfect RT, while it was a Brotherly all S-10 matchup between Doug Foley Jr. and Joe Foley. Joe would take the W in the Bear Motorsports S-10 to set up a Final Round between Foley and the Nova of Vickers. Mother Nature stepped in before the Final could be run, so we will likely see this matchup Saturday morning.
