Sunday Epping LODRS Final Eliminations Results
The NHRA Division 1 Staff put in an incredible effort to overcome Mother Nature’s wrath and wrap up the New England Dragway Event on Sunday afternoon. Jamie Noonan added to his Top Alcohol Dragster points lead with the Victory at Epping. Noonan defeated Rich Bourke in the Final Round to add to his points total, while the racers chasing him at the National Event in Brainerd all went out early. DJ Cox’s return to Top Alcohol Funny Car ended up with a Wally as he earned the Final Round victory over Bruce Mullins, who left 006 Red. Justin Picillo capped off a sensational Division 1 Season in Super Stock with his Third Win in Four Final Rounds. This victory puts him in the National Points lead sitting in the driver’s seat as well as essentially clinching the Division 1 SS championship. Another big move in the National Points Race at Epping was in Stock Eliminator with Shane Oakes taking a clutch Final Round win over Nick Rieter. Oakes only has 1 National Event left to claim, but is sitting on a strong 600 Point Total. He also jumped to the Top of the D1 SS points sheet, with Joe Santangelo and Matt Lisa still in contention. Joe Carnasciale continues to make headlines as he earned his Sixth Division 1 Wally in Competition Eliminator this season. Unfortunately, this win did not increase his National or Division points total as he is now under pressure from Cody Lane, who won the Brainerd National Event today. Former Top Sportsman World Champ Brandon Miller has raced a limited schedule this season, but he has made the most of it as he scored his Third D1 TS win in 2026. Miller now has a solid Lead in the Division 1 Points Race. Other winners from Sunday include Chris Cumming (Top Dragster), Jeff Kundratic (Super Comp), Vouk Popovich (Super Gas), Michael Giuliano (Super Street), Tyler Beaulieu (Junior Dragster 11+) and David Scranton (Junior Dragster 6-10). This was the Final NHRA Division 1 LODRS Points Race of the Season.

Saturday Epping LODRS Final Qualifying and Early Eliminations Results
NHRA Division 1’s trip to New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire continued on Saturday. The original schedule called for Final Eliminations to finish out the event on Saturday, however Mother Nature stepped in & pushed the remainder of Eliminations to Sunday. One round of Eliminations was able to be completed in all classes, along with Round 2 in a few. This sets up a big Day of Eliminations on Sunday. Epping Top Alcohol E1 Update
#1 Qualifier Rich Bourke set Low ET of E1 in Top Alcohol Dragster with a 5.407. Jamie Noonan was right behind him with a 5.423 to defeat Joe Gerdelmann. Jackie Fricke had trouble at the hit, but got the Win as Joe Morrison left early. Top Alcohol Funny Car E1 saw a pair of Singles with DJ Cox running Low ET of the Event with a 5.587 ET on his first full pass in the new car.

Friday Epping LODRS Qualifying Results
NHRA Division 1 took a trip North from last weekend’s Race at Cecil County to New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire for this Weekend’s Season Finale. The Top Alcohol classes are back in action for an East Regional Event with Rich Bourke (Top Alcohol Dragster) and Bruce Mullins (Top Alcohol Funny Car) leading their respective categories heading into Eliminations on Saturday. All other LODRS classes received 3 Qualifying/Time Trials on Friday, with another one Saturday morning before Eliminations start in the Afternoon. Pro Mod and Radial Racer Tim Dutton is sitting in the Top Dragster #1 Spot with a 6.108 ET during the first outing with his new car in this class. National Points Contender Jeff Brooks sits atop the Sheet in Top Sportsman with a 6.389 ET. National Points Leader Joe Carnasicale has the Provisional Pole in Competition Eliminator with a 69 Under Lap. Other Top Qualifiers from Friday include Shane Oakes (Super Stock), Ralph Porpora (Stock), Austin Abel (Junior Dragster 11+) and Maxx Detomasi (Junior Dragster 6-10).
