Friday $25K Main Event Results
Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio roared to life on Friday with the first $25K to Win Main Event at this year’s No Box Bonanza event. The Best Bottom Bulb racers from across the country & some from Canada have again converged for this battle of the titans leaving off the 3rd Amber. Today’s $25K Final Round saw a couple great racers square off with Maryland’s Jason Parker in his Fox Body Mustang against the Legendary 1st Gen Camaro of Michigan’s Mickey Adams. This was a prime example of the tight racing at No Box Bonanza as Parker turned on the Win light by a Margin of 0001 (One Ten-Thousandth of a second) at the stripe with a 021 RT and 2 Above Lap (6.355 on 6.33 Dial). In other Friday action, Scott Campbell emerged victorious in the Super 16 second chance race defeating Tylor Dillman in the Final. The 2nd of 3 $25K Main Events is scheduled for Saturday in Norwalk.

Thursday 128-Car Shootout Results
No Box Bonanza 28 is underway on Thursday with a 128-Car Shootout & Test and Tune at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The Shootout Final Round saw two of the best Footbrake racers square off for the $7500 Winner’s Share of the Purse as last year’s No Box Bonanza Weekend Points Champion Nick Bowman and his Duster named “Nadine” faced Charlie Lockhart with his Kentucky-based S-10 in the Final Round. Nick picked up where he left off last season as he let go 010 Better (021 to 031) and put it Dead 5 (6.555 on 6.55 Dial) to light up the Final W Lamp. Doug Heinisch’s Corvette & Steve Collier’s S-10 were the Semi-Finalists. Friday will see the Weekend’s First $25K to Win Main Event.
