Saturday Recap
The 2026 IHRA Spring Nationals at Darana-National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH lived up to the hype with an incredible day of Eliminations action across the Outlaw Nitro Series and Pro-Am Series categories. Gary Pritchett used bracket-like consistency 3.05-3.06 ET’s in Eliminations to win the Top Fuel title for Foley Lewis Racing. Del Worsham laid down solid A to B laps every round to earn the Nitro Funny Car Ironman. Jason Harris finally got an IHRA Pro Mod victory after coming up short in the first two final rounds to start the season. Matt Giangrande used a massive holeshot to get the Mountain Motor Pro Stock victory over Jerry Tucker. Other Pro class winners on the day included Bubba Stanton (Outlaw Pro Mod), Ryan Hill (Fuel Altered), Joey Severance (Top Alcohol Dragster), Tony Bogolo (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Kyle Canion (Small Tire Bratz), Taylor Dietsch (Pro Stock), Steve Comella (Hemi Shootout), Jordan Peterson (Nitro Harley) and David Marshall (Snowmobile). The IHRA Pro-Am Series saw an all-star cast of winners: Chris Stine (Top Dragster), Bob Mandell (Top Sportsman), Mark Nowicki (Super Stock), Brent Darroch (Stock), Garry Fleenor (Quick Rod), Rick Stroud (Super Rod) and Glenn Ferguson (Hot Rod). IHRA carries on to Maple Grove Raceway for the first leg of the Triple Crown Seires in a couple weeks.

Friday Recap
Darana-National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH is playing host to the third stop of the 2026 IHRA Nitro Outlaw Series with the Spring Nationals this weekend. Friday was Qualifying Day for the Pro categories. Lee Callaway (Top Fuel), Del Worsham (Funny Car), Ryan Hill (Fuel Altered) and Chris Smith (Nitro Harley) lead the Nitro classes into Eliminations on Saturday. Jason Harris and the Party Time team stayed atop the Pro Mod class earning the #1 Qualifying position with a 3.601 ET. Bubba Stanton also kept his momentum up with a great 3.558 to earn the top spot in Outlaw Pro Mod. The toughest class of all to Qualify in was Mountain Motor Pro Stock, which ranged from #1 Qualifier Dwayne Rice at 4.046 to the #16 Bump Spot of Allen Johnson at 4.119. Likewise, the Top Alcohol Dragster field was incredibly close with Joey Severance leading the way at 3.465 in the supercharged YNOT/Noonan entry, while the 8-car field was capped off by a strong 3.547 for the Canada-based Injected Nitro entry of Jeff Chatterson. Other Top Qualifiers from the Pro classes included Chip Beverett (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Tony Scott (Pro Stock), Steve Comella (Hemi Shootout) and David Marshall (Snowmobile). Thursday is Pro-Am Qualifying Day, and featured several rounds of Eliminations for those classes today to get ahead of the weather challenges predicted as the weekend continues on. Top Qualifiers for the Pro-Am classes were Matt Albright (Top Dragster), Mike Savoia (Top Sportsman), Earl Roe (Super Stock), David Bares (Stock), Kathy Smulligan (Quick Rod), Derrick Willard (Super Rod) and Brian Webster (Hot Rod).
