LODRS Race 1 Final Eliminations Results
The Annual NHRA Division 3 Double Header at Worldwide Technology Raceway kept rolling on Thursday with Eliminations for Race 1. The Day’s Big Story was National Points drama as two Racers jumped to the Top of the Points Sheet with Event Wins. JB Strassweg laid down a string of excellent laps, including a 017 RT + Dead 5 Lap (6.345 on 6.34 Dial) to win the Top Dragster Final Round over Nick Isenhower. Strassweg jumps past JR Baxter into the National Points Lead by 22 Points. A similar scenario took place in Super Gas as Jordan Pratt earned the Wally in a Double Breakout decision 9.863 to 9.859 (9.90 Index) to knock Nathan Vrooman off of the Top Spot in the National Points battle. Other Winners on the Day include Tim Kirman (Top Sportsman), David Barton (Comp), Wyatt Wagner (Super Stock), Doug Lambeck (Stock), Jeff Cheney (Super Comp), Nick Allison (Super Street) and Jimmy Paulson (Sportsman Motorcycle). LODRS Race 1 Final Qualifying Results
NHRA Division 3 is back on track this weekend at Worldwide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois for a Double Header Season Finale. Race 1 Qualifying was on the agenda for Wednesday’s on-track activity. The big story on the Day was David Barton doing some Factory Stock Showdown testing in Competition Eliminator’s FS/SM class & recording a 7.671 ET, which equates to .819 Under the Class Index. This is by far the quickest run we have seen this season in Comp. Other Top Qualifiers on the Day include Dennis Brown (Top Dragster), Glenn Butcher (Top Sportsman), Jason DeForrest (Super Stock) and Randy Mans (Stock). Wednesday Shootout Winners were Trey Datweiler (Stock/SS Combo), Rock Haas / Jack Nolan – Final Round Split (Super Comp), Ashley Cole (Super Gas), Taylor Nobile (Super Street) and Jonna Jenkins (Sportsman Motorcycle).
