With Weather incoming to the Bristol area, Friday was the Final Scheduled day for this year’s Fall Fling with $75K-to-win on the line for the Day’s Main Event. The Race made it down to the Final 10 entries left before the weather reached the track, and shut racing down for the Event. The $75K Main Event purse was distributed amongst the Final 10 Racers. The Flings will be back in action for their Final Event of 2026 next month with the Door Car Fling at Darana Motorsports Park-Benson (Formerly Galot).

Thursday Fall Fling $75K Main Event Results
The Fall Fling Week continued on Thursday with the first $75K Main Event at Bristol Dragway. After a long day of racing with several freak oildowns and incidents, the $75K got down to the Round of 19 Cars Left when the Curfew hit on Thursday night. Eliminations wrapped up on Friday Afternoon with a Final Round between Maine’s Kyle Cultrera and Tennessee local Greg Spencer in his ’69 Camaro. Cultrera, piloting the Team W “Tropic Thunder” Dragster, had the Better RT 016, and set it Dead 7 (4.647 on 4.64 Dial) to take the Winners Share of the $75K Top Prize. Austin Olinger was the Main Event’s sole semi-finalist. The Friday $75K Main Event is currently underway. Wednesday Fall Fling $15K Warmup Results
The Fall Fling $15K Warmup Race started on Wednesday, and ended on Thursday afternoon at Bristol Dragway. Four competitors were remaining when the clock hit Midnight, which is the Bristol Dragway curfew. The remaining rounds were run on Thursday during the Re-Entry Round. The Final Round came down to a battle of Dragsters as Kentucky’s Dustin Chesnut squared off with Tennessee’s Cole Grayson. Chesnut is no stranger to the Winners Circle and it showed as he was 011 on the Tree and Dead 0 (4.780 on 4.78 Dial) to earn the $15K Top Prize. Grayson was solid in the other lane with a 015 RT and 1 Above Lap (4.828 on 4.81 Dial) in his first pass in a borrowed ride, after his Dragster broke on the Semi-Final Round lap, but it wouldn’t be enough in this Final. Trevor Denton and Don Tipton were this race’s Semi-Finalists. The Thursday Main Event is underway, and is now featuring a $75K-to-win Top Prize after the 3-$50K’s were combined to 2-$75K’s due to incoming weather over the weekend. Wednesday Night Update
The Fall Fling rolled right along with the $15K Warmup Race on Wednesday at Bristol Dragway. There were several challenging track cleanups throughout the day that pushed the action right up to curfew. There were 4 Racers Left in competition at the Midnight stoppage: Don Tipton, Trevor Denton, Cole Grayson and Dustin Chesnut. These Racers will square off at some point on Thursday to conclude the $15K.
Tuesday Fall Fling $20K Shootout Results
Bristol Dragway in Bristol, TN is a busy place this week for the RAD Torque Systems Fall Fling promoted by The Flings Race Series crew. Tuesday’s on-track action consisted of an Open Test & Tune as well as a $20K-to-Win 32 Car Shootout. The Door Car-Dragster Final Round would consist of Donovan Williams in the Overkill Motorsports/FTI GMC Sonoma aptly named “Ole Red” against Chase Conley’s supercharged Dragster. The $20K will head back to Florida with Williams as Conley let go 002 Red ending this race on the Starting Line. Shootout Semi-Finalists were last week’s OG Million Winner Cory Gulitti and Ray Miller III. Wednesday’s action features a $15K-to-win Warmup Race.
