PDRA Triple Threat Series Event Recap
The PDRA Triple Threat Series was back again with the next race of its season at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA. Friday’s $10K Main Event saw Carey Long put his S-10 in the Winners Circle with a 12 Total Lap (006 RT + Dead-6, 5.736 on 5.73) to defeat the Dragster of Michael Paschal. A rough weather forecast for Sunday set up a combined purse of $20K-to-win Main Event on Saturday. The Dragsters of Robert Vogler and last year’s series champ Austin Thompson faced off for the Top Prize. Thompson turned it Red, handing the W and $20K over to Vogler. The PDRA Triple Threat Series finishes off its season with the Mega Bucks Event in October at VMP.
