PDRA’s Triple Threat Bracket Series finished off their first event of the season with some excellent bracket racing action at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA. Ray Miller scored the $15K Top Prize with his NexGen Racecars Dragster defeating Davis Adkins in a classic Dragster vs. Door Car Final Round. Miller laid down 19 total (.006 + .013-Above Dial) to take a .013 Margin of Victory at the Finish Line. Miller and Adkins were the day’s top performers as both were Double until late rounds. Miller had to race himself at 5 Cars, while Adkins had his second entry eliminated at the Round of 9 Cars by Miller. PDRA Pro Street standout Blake Denton was the day’s sole semi-finalist, wheeling Tyler Crossnoe’s Dragster. The next PDRA Triple Threat Bracket Series event will take place July 30-August 2 at VMP.

Friday Recap
The Triple Threat Bracket Series kicked off its first season under the PDRA banner with Race 1 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA. Weather forced an altered schedule for this weekend with the 3-$10K to win Main Events changed to 2-$15K to win Main Events on Friday & Sunday. Friday’s action kicked off with around 200 entries vying for the $15K-to-win Top Prize. The final round came down to a Dragster vs. Door Car final with Kyle Hustwayte’s Dragster facing off with Bobby Eley’s Camaro. Eley would let go .024 Red handing the Top Prize over to Hustwayte.
