MWDRS Flying H Sunday Morning Update
Mother Nature was the Winner at Flying H Dragstrip over the Weekend. A huge tip of the hat goes out to the Mid-West Drag Racing Series & Flying H Crews for putting in a massive effort to try to get Racing in this weekend. Unfortunately, the precipitation was relentless & only Qualifying for Race 1 was able to be completed. MWDRS plans on finishing this Event as well as Flying H Race 2 during the Tulsa Raceway Park Season Finale for essentially a Triple Header Weekend in October.
MWDRS Flying H Thursday Qualifying Results (Race 1)
The Midwest Drag Racing Series is back in action with the Double Header Smack Down at Flying H Dragstrip in Odessa, Missouri. Thursday featured Qualifying for Race 1 in all MWDRS classes. Unfortunately only Q1 was able to be completed before curfew hit. Peter Norton led a stacked Pro Mod Field in Q1 with a strong 3.574 /208MPH blast. Jeff Rudolf, Paul Gargus, Kallee Tally and Blake Housley round out the Top 5. Points Leader Ryan Martin shook the tires and had to lift early. He is currently outside the field looking in going to Q2 with Kurt Riffel sitting on the Bump Spot at 3.874. Other Top Qualifiers on the Day include JR Sandlian (Pro 4.20), Tyler Wells (Top Sportsman) and Michaela Micke (Top Dragster). Qualifying continues in the Morning, before rolling through Eliminations in the Afternoon/Evening.
