GallStar Bracket Races Cash Harvest Event Recap
GallStar Bracket Races put on the Corn Belt Cash Harvest at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park in Iowa over the weekend. This was yet another Event affected by inclement weather over the Weekend. The schedule was changed from Triple $11K Main Events (Fri-Sun) to a pair of $11K’s on Saturday and Sunday. An all-Dragster Final Round started the Event on Saturday with John Davis Jr. wheeling his Supercharged Entry to the Winners Circle running Dead-8 (4.228 on 4.22 Dial) defeating Jake Jones. Brandon Schmall then drove his Mustang to the Saturday Night Race of Champions $3K victory over the Dragster of Todd Knight. The Sunday $11K Final Round was another battle of the Dragsters between Ben Haugen and Tucker Kanselaar. Both Drivers let go 00x on the Tree (005 to 007) with Ben earning the win in a Double Breakout Decision. Haugen was 3 Thou Under (4.577 on 4.58 Dial) to Kanselaar’s 4 Thou Under Lap (4.556 on 4.56 Dial). Excellent racing on both sides of the track with Haugen’s Shorty Dragster earning the $11K. GallStar Bracket races has one more Event schedules this season with a trip to Eddyville, Iowa at the end of this month.
