Sunday Recap
The TB Promotions $100K Weekend finished up on Sunday with a Full Day of Bracket Racing Eliminations. First up was the completion of the $100K 128-Car Shootout from Saturday night, which would crown Adam Keir as the Champion. Then, action continued on to the late rounds of the Saturday/Sunday $50K Main Event. The Final Round was a classic Dragster vs. Door Car Final Round between Josh Lynch’s 4th Gen Firebird and Isaac Bridge’s North Carolina-based Dragster. This was an excellent Drag Race with Bridges having the 004 to 027 RT advantage off the line, and a 2 Above (4.705 on 4.68 Dial) run left was enough to turn on the W light. Lynch had a small window to get inside Bridges’ run, but he broke out by 001 (6.629 on 6.63 Dial). A great Final Round to wrap up an amazing weekend in Kentucky. Scott Taylor was the $50K lone semi-finalist in his “Adderail” Dragster. Nick Hastings again got the job done in No Box defeating Jimbo Fields in the Final Round. TB Promotions now moves on to their Final Event of the Season at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan next month with a $250K-to-win Main Event.

$100K Wrapup
Weather pushed the Final Rounds of Eliminations in the TB Promotions $100K Shootout to Sunday Morning at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Door Cars would rule the Shootout by shutting Dragsters out by the Semi-Final Round. The Final Round came down to Pennsylvania’s Adam Keir in his S-10 against Kentucky’s Chris Cadle in his Family’s Plymouth Duster. Cadle would let go better 017 to 027, but at the stripe Keir would get there First by 006 with a Dead 5 lap (5.965 on 5.96 Dial) to take the $100K Victory. Mikey Bloomfield and Mitchell Reaves were the Shootout Semi-Finalists. Action continues on Sunday Afternoon with the conclusion of the Saturday/Sunday $50K Main Event. Saturday Recap
Saturday featured the Biggest Day of the TB Promotions $100K Weekend at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Day kicked off with Eliminations Round 1, Re-Entry Round and Round 2 for the Weekend’s Final $50K-to-win Main Event. That action was hot and heavy, lots of great racing across the board. Late in the Day would be the Weekend’s Featured Race with the TB Promotions $100K 128-Car Shootout. Mother Nature would have to stick her nose in with a lengthy Lightning Delay in the middle of E1. The decision was made to finish E1 once the storm system moved out, and put everyone on an equal playing field when the Race resumes with E2 on Sunday morning. Sunday will be a Full Day of action at Beech Bend with both the conclusion of both the $100K Shootout and the $50K Main Event on the schedule. Friday Recap
TB Promotions $100K Weekend continued on Friday with the first $50K Main Event of the Weekend at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The late night Final Round came down to another Dragster versus Door Car battle with the Dragster of Trevor Moore versus Big Money Bracket Racing Legend Gary Williams in the “Big Red” Sonoma. On this day, Moore was locked in with a 002 RT and Dead-8 (4.598 on 4.59 Dial) to lock out GDub’s 020 Light. Moore takes home the $50K Top Prize with his Supercharged Dragster. KC Pesnell again made a deep run in Eliminations Double-Entered. Pesnell was still Doubled at 19 Cars, and took his Final Entry down to the Semis. The day’s No Box Final Round was quite a story as Nick Hastings faced off against the Famed Pontiac T-1000 that he drove to so many Big Money Wins, now piloted by Teammate Marcus Puru. Both racers were set on kill, Puru was 006 while Hastings was a little too on kill with a 009 Red. Marcus was your Friday No Box Winner. Action continues on Saturday with the Opening Rounds of the Weekend’s Final $50K Main Event, followed by the $100K 128-Car Shootout later in the Evening. Thursday Recap
The TB Promotions $100K Weekend kicked off on Thursday at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Despite the blistering hot weather, over 300 Entries staged up for Round 1 of the Warmup Race that featured the Top Prize of a Rolling Dragster Chassis from Folk Race Cars and Riggeal’s Performance Fiberglass. The Final Round was yet another Dragster-Door Car matchup as Ryan Sparks’ Ohio-based Dragster put it in the Beams against Todd Senseney’s Chevy II Wagon. This race was won on the Starting Line as Senseney had a big RT advantage 016 to 043, and put it Dead 8 (6.087 on 6.08) for the Victory. Gary Williams and KC Pesnell were the Main Event’s Semi-Finalists. Jack Harvey in his Fox Body Mustang won the No Box side of the action with a Margin of Victory totaling 002 over Taylor Pofahl’s trademark S-10.
