Saturday Recap
The first event of the 2026 Funny Car Chaos Championship Tour is complete after a great weekend of racing at Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, OK. Keith Zimmerer dominated the ‘A’ Field with Low ET of each round in the Penny Pincher Mustang. Even with that great performance, he still had extremely close races every round including a 3.60 to 3.65 final round against Kirk Williams. Robbie Massey emerged victorious in the B Field after Doug Schneider could not make the Final Round call. After struggling in Qualifying, Massey got back to his normal performance in the Final with a great 3.612 ET. Cody Chatfield was the picture of consistency on his way to the C Field title defeating Daniel Cottrell in a 4.11 to 4.22 decision. The Funny Car Chaos series heads on to the Texas Motorplex for their next race in a couple weeks.

Friday Recap
Day 1 of the 2026 Funny Car Chaos season featured two sessions of Qualifying at Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, OK. Keith Zimmerer stole the show with a 3.584/211mph blast in the Penny Pincher Mustang. Brian Lewis slotted in at #2 with a 3.628 while Shayne Lawson, Kirk Williams and James Day rounded out the Top 5.
