Sunday Eliminations certainly didn’t disappoint with excellent late rounds action across all categories during the Snyder Sportsman Classic at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip in Pomona, CA. Defending Super Stock World Champ Justin Lamb made it to his second Final of the season, and was able to score his first 75th Anniversary Wally defeating Evan Kowalski, who went .006 Red. Cooper Chun scored a big win for Division 6 as he earned the Top Dragster Wally over Damon Bustamante, who broke out by .001 in the final (6.639 on 6.64). Another D6 winner was Cody Lane, who got the job done in Stock Eliminator over Nanette Stein. Veteran D7 Racer Brad Pierce scored a big win for the Home Track racers with the Super Gas title in an excellent double breakout decision over Eric Reyes. Other winners included Jeff Gillette (Top Sportsman), Ryan Priddy (Comp), Tanner Theobald (Super Comp), David Myhre (Super Street) and Clayton Howey (Sportsman Motorcycle). Most of these racers will be back in action next weekend at the NHRA National Event in Phoenix.

Racing action kicked off on Thursday with Qualifying and Time Trials for the Snyder Sportsman Classic at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip in Pomona, CA. Jennifer Wiens leads the Top Dragster field with a 6.108 ET followed closely by Steve Will just .001 behind at 6.109. Madison Payne piloted the BAE Camaro to the #1 spot in Top Sportsman with a 6.222 at 238(!) MPH. Steve Graham topped the Competition Eliminator qualifiers with a -.654 lap in his B/A Camaro.
