Tucson Dragway’s 10th Anniversary Hangover Nationals wrapped up on Sunday with another full day of racing action. The big story of the day was in Pro ET where Joe Kidd dominated the day ending up with both of his entries advancing to the final round. Kidd accomplished the rare feat in his S-10. Keoki Desa will take the Super Pro $5K back to Las Vegas as he used a .002 RT and .02-above lap to earn the victory in his Dragster over Ken Passerby’s Vega. Arami Slade (Sportsman), Tom Patterson (Motorcycle), Brian Price (Junior Dragster) and Allison Bolle (Junior Street) rounded out the day’s winners to finish off this year’s edition of the Hangover Nationals. The Hangover Nationals at Tucson Dragway had another excellent day of racing on Saturday with $5K on the line again in both Super Pro and Pro ET. The big story of the day was Tony Marconi backing up his Friday Pro ET win with another $5K victory on Saturday. Marconi wheeled his Roadster to the win over Denny Valvo, who turned it .006 Red in the final. California racer Jacob Collins earned the Super Pro victory by a margin of just .006 over Gabriel Hernandez in an all-dragster final. Other winners on the day included Dave Muller (Sportsman), Tom Patterson (Motorcycle), Jace Renoll (Junior Dragster) and Nathan Rienstra (Junior Street).
