Saturday’s action crowned the weekend’s big winner with the $25K Main Event at the Inaugural BTE Thanksgiving Footbrake Challenge presented by Coalburg Racing Promotions in Montgomery, AL. Georgia’s Michael Brand emerged victorious laying down a .015 package with his Camaro in the final round over South Carolina’s Trevor Jenkins and his Blazer. Brand adds a $25K Footbrake winners check to his resume to go along with his many NHRA Stock & Super Stock titles. Racers traveled in from across the Eastern Half of the U.S. for the Inaugural BTE Thanksgiving Footbrake Challenge presented by Coalburg Racing Promotions in Montgomery, AL. Mitchell Seymore added yet another win at Montgomery in an incredible 2025 season to his resume, this time taking the $20K-to-win top prize over fellow local champion KC Pesnell. Interestingly enough, both were this season’s Montgomery Int’l Dragway track champions with Seymore taking the No Box title & Pesnell the Box class champion. Another standout performance was Footbrake ace Kevin Pollard carrying both of his entries down to the Quarterfinals (6 Cars Left) before bowing out.
