Tommy D’Aprile made his return to Pro Mod action in a big way with an epic final round victory over Billy Banaka at the Orlando Speedworld Dragway World Street Nationals. D’Aprile used a .018 to .041 RT advantage to make the difference in a final round where both racers recorded identical 3.618 ET’s. Both racers are looking to be big contenders as The Winter Series approaches. Other winners at this event included David Strassel (Top Sportsman) and Nick Schroeder (Pro Street).

Saturday at Orlando Speedworld Dragway’s World Street Nationals saw racers push the limits of performance, and it was none other than Ken Quartuccio raising the bar. Ken laid down a 3.594 ET in Q6 to lock down the #1 Qualifying in Pro Mod for the weekend. Jeff Rudolf’s brand new Ghetto Sleigh was right behind with a 3.601, followed by Tommy D’Aprile’s 3.612 in his return to the Pro Mod ranks. Elimination rounds kick off Sunday morning at OSW Dragway.
